Crimson Albino Iguana Care
Crimson Albino Iguana are a species of reptile that belong to the genus Iguana and are native to Central America, South America, Mexico, some Caribbean Islands and parts of Fiji and Madagascar. They are cold blooded and live in tropical and subtropical climates.

They have a three-chambered heart with two atria and one ventricle. The heartbeat is triggered by the contraction of muscle fibers in the thorax, which contract when the animal breathes.

The Crimson Albino Iguana muscles are very light in color due to a high proportion of fast-twitch glycolytic muscle fibers (type A). These fibers do not have a lot of vascularization and are low in myoglobin, making them easy for the animal to move.

These fibers are also a great source of oxygen which helps them burn calories to keep their bodies warm. As a result of this, they can grow very large in size and weight.

Iguanas are herbivores and eat fruits, vegetables and leaves from trees and shrubs. They can also chomp on worms, shrimp and snails as well.

Their lifespans can range from 20 years in captivity to 60 years in the wild depending on how you care for them and what they are exposed to. Iguanas are prone to behavioural issues like aggression, and overly skittish behaviour which can make them hard to handle unless they have been properly trained.
